Angela Yee: Coffee Uplifts People (CUP)

At Be Well Bro, we believe in uplifting communities through meaningful connections, and that's why we're proud to spotlight Coffee Uplifts People (CUP) in our Community Corner.

Founded in 2020 by Tony Forte, Angela Yee, and LaRon Batchelor, Coffee Uplifts People (CUP) is more than a coffee brand—it’s a movement. Rooted in Diversity, Inclusion, Representation, and Equity (D.I.R.E.), CUP uplifts communities by ensuring fair compensation and sustainable practices through direct-trade relationships across Ethiopia, Peru, Indonesia, Mexico, Kenya, and Brazil.

With a 100% People of Color (POC) supply chain, CUP is committed to equity and empowerment. Roasted in Brooklyn, each batch reflects the culture and energy of its communities, proving that coffee can be a powerful force for change, connection, and justice.

Join us in celebrating CUP and their mission to Unlock the Promise of Coffee—one cup at a time.
