One of our biggest missions at The B.R.O. Experience Foundation is to support young fathers. In the Fall of 2024, we successfully did that with our six-week fatherhood program, partnering with Montefiore Hospital and its Hero Dads program. We aren’t stopping there. This year, we are continuing that support with our new program, the Daddy and Me Project.
What is the Daddy and Me Project?
The Daddy and Me Project is a nine-month focus group tailored to supporting young men in their journey through fatherhood. The program is organized around a three-touch-point system; in-person group sessions, one-on-one social support, and virtual fatherhood seminars led by Barry Cooper, with each session occurring once a month.
What can I expect?
Daddy and Me Project aims to empower young fathers to lead fulfilling and prosperous lives with their children. This means enhancing parenting skills, using CBT practices to improve mental well-being, and strengthening financial literacy and stability. This program has been crafted to show young fathers that they do not have to struggle through this journey alone.
If you or any young fathers you know can benefit from this program, please sign up for our orientation.
