This #GivingTuesday, Invest In Young Black Men
The start of our B.R.O. (X) Rites of Passage 2022/23 program: This session was about moving out of your comfort zones.
Greetings, community. We have much to report! In September we kicked off the fall/winter program of the B.R.O.(X) Rites Of Passage Program at Fredrick Douglas Academy 7 High School in the heart of Brownsville, Brooklyn. We reconnected with our young men from last year's cohort who are now 10th graders. They are very excited to be back together!
It's also been amazing to continue activating our BRO Space headquarters at 7 Marcus Garvey in Bed Stuy.
I also want to remind everyone that it's November, so that means Thanksgiving, Black Friday and... #GivingTuesday!
It can be difficult to raise funds for programs like ours because people struggle with wanting to invest in the long-term growth of young men of color. So please watch the video below, go to our #GivingTuesday page, and join the cause.
